Faro Airport is not the same destination as every Algarve resort
Send the exact town, address and postcode rather than simply writing Algarve. A Faro city delivery, an airport meeting and a handover at a villa or resort can require different onward journeys. We include that last leg when checking your deadline.
Faro Airport publishes onward-transport information, but a public timetable does not reserve your courier's transfer or establish a door-to-door arrival time. We assess a suitable transfer for the accepted item and agreed delivery address.

Send the item, London collection postcode, earliest ready time, full destination and latest acceptable handover time. For goods, include packed dimensions and weight. We confirm suitability, travel availability and the total quote before you book.
Once the booking is confirmed, collection, travel updates and proof of delivery are agreed for the job. Do not send payment or sensitive document images until the arrangement has been confirmed with Direct Carry.
Forgotten keys and holiday-property handovers
Forgotten keys and holiday-property handovers
For keys, tell us who can release them in London and who is authorised to receive them in Portugal. For a holiday property, give the booking name, property-manager contact and access instructions. Do not assume the courier can enter a locked property or leave keys unattended.
For a hotel, agree whether reception can sign for the envelope or whether the guest must receive it personally. Tell us about check-out or onward travel so the plan does not reach a hotel after the recipient has left.
Existing passports and time-critical documents
Existing passports and time-critical documents
An existing passport can be assessed when it is physically available for collection. Give the traveller's location and next departure deadline in local time. Passport delivery is not a replacement-passport service or a guarantee of airline acceptance.
For a contract or other original, specify the receiving person, office hours and required delivery acknowledgement. A signature appointment or a return of signed papers is an additional instruction to agree before dispatch.

We check reachable departures only after establishing the collection postcode, ready time, item suitability and final deadline. Flight availability and fares can change until tickets are booked. We confirm the proposed journey and total quote before you accept.
Goods need their packed size, weight, value and precise contents declared for acceptance and paperwork checks. Disclose batteries or liquids; dangerous goods are not accepted. Airport arrival, security processing and the onward journey are all considered before quoting an estimated handover time.
