Planning your delivery to Moscow

An original document needed at a Moscow office, an existing passport or a small item that cannot wait for a routine parcel delivery? Tell us the London collection point and the exact Moscow deadline. We assess a dedicated on-board courier for your accepted shipment.

Same-day and next-day enquiries: availability is checked individually. No delivery window is confirmed until a suitable courier, the complete route, insurance and shipment checks are in place.

London → Istanbul → Moscow

Turkish Airlines describes a London–Istanbul–Moscow journey and lists Vnukovo (VKO) options. This is a route to investigate, not a reserved seat or a confirmed delivery. We compare reachable departures, the connection and the final Moscow address before offering a handover time.

Same-day and next-day requests

Tell us when it must arrive.
We check the whole journey.

Ask us to assess same-day or next-day delivery to Moscow. These are requested windows, not an advertised guarantee. We confirm the earliest realistic handover after checking the London collection, available courier, flights, customs arrangements and receiving address.

Same-day: only when every stage fits

For a Moscow same-day request, the item must be ready early enough for a reachable London departure, a suitable connection and the final transfer before the recipient closes. An evening landing alone does not establish same-day delivery.

Next-day: assessed against your exact deadline

A next-day request still needs a bookable itinerary, a suitable courier and time for the final handover. Tell us the destination’s local date and time; next-day does not automatically mean within 24 hours. When neither window is feasible, we explain the earliest option or decline the job.

A dedicated journey. Not a standard parcel timetable.

When a week is too long

A dedicated journey.
Not a standard parcel timetable.

Some standard parcel services publish delivery estimates of more than a week. For example, Topparcel’s UK-to-Russia guidance lists 10–15 working days for its Standard service and 14–21 working days for Economy.

Those are that provider’s published parcel-service estimates, not a statement that every courier takes a week. They are also not equivalent to an individually arranged on-board courier service.

When a parcel-network timescale does not fit your deadline, ask Direct Carry to assess dedicated personal carriage. The proposed benefit is a journey planned around your accepted shipment rather than a standard distribution schedule; the actual time and price are confirmed for your job.

The right Moscow airport. The right receiving person.

Vnukovo (VKO) · Final delivery matters

The right Moscow airport. The right receiving person.

Moscow enquiries need the actual delivery address, not just the city name. Give the office or building name, entrance, floor, receiving department and a telephone number. An airport meeting and a city-centre office delivery are different jobs; the transfer must be included in the deadline assessment.

For original company paperwork, tell us whether a receptionist may receive the envelope or whether it must go to a named signatory. An office closing time can rule out a flight that otherwise arrives that evening. Signature collection, extra stops and any return of documents must be agreed before booking.

Avoid a new visa wait where an eligible courier is available.

Ready for the route

Avoid a new visa wait where an eligible courier is available.

A courier who already has the necessary entry permissions may avoid waiting for a new visa application. Our city-route coverage is being developed around suitable experienced OBCs, including holders of valid Russian international travel documents where relevant.

This is not confirmation of an available courier. Collection-country, transit and return permissions, willingness, insurance and the accepted shipment must all be checked. A passport does not remove sanctions, customs requirements or flight delays.

Original documents and eligible small items. Individually checked.

Before acceptance

Original documents and eligible small items. Individually checked.

Send a precise contents description, value, packed dimensions and weight, the sender, recipient, intended end user and use. Disclose batteries, liquids and technical equipment. Direct Carry does not accept dangerous goods or medical shipments on these routes.

Original paperwork, existing passports and small personal or business items are enquiry categories, not automatic acceptance. Applicable sanctions and export or import restrictions must be checked; any required declarations, licences or customs representation must be arranged before booking. No shipment is treated as exempt merely because it is hand-carried.

Moscow courier questions

Are there direct flights from London to Moscow?

No direct London–Moscow service is available in the route information checked for this guide. We assess connecting itineraries and reconfirm current schedules, disruption and seat availability for each job.

Can you deliver to Moscow the same day or next day?

Ask us to check your required window. Same-day and next-day are enquiry options, not standing delivery promises. We only offer a window after confirming the courier, full itinerary, lawful carriage, insurance and final handover. Same-day means the collection date in the destination’s local calendar; next-day means the following date, not necessarily within 24 hours.

Why can a standard parcel quote be more than a week?

Published parcel-network estimates can include processing, international movement, customs and local distribution. The source linked on this page gives an example; it does not describe every courier company. A dedicated hand-carry assessment uses your particular collection point, accepted item and deadline instead.

Does an existing Russian passport or visa remove all delays?

No. A suitable courier who already has the necessary entry permissions may avoid a new visa application. That does not establish availability or remove transit requirements, customs checks, sanctions, insurance requirements or flight disruption.

What should I send for a Moscow quote?

Send the exact item, its value, weight and dimensions, London collection postcode, ready time, full delivery address, recipient contact and deadline in local time. Describe the intended use and any batteries or technical contents. Do not send passport scans or numbers in an initial enquiry.

Travel and shipment checks remain essential

The FCDO advises against all travel to Russia and warns that travelling against its advice could invalidate insurance. A connecting route does not remove those risks or any shipment restrictions.
