WHY DIRECT CARRY

Start with the equipment, its power source and the deadline.

A replacement module or compact network unit may be needed to restore a system, support a broadcast or complete an installation. The useful delivery time is when the receiving technician can access the equipment, including any site entry or shift-change arrangements.

Send the make, model, quantity and a clear description of what the equipment does. Identify internal, installed and spare batteries separately, and include the manufacturer’s available specifications. We assess the complete packed shipment before confirming a practical route. For an early development unit, our prototype hand-carry guidance covers additional identification and handling information.

Electronic equipment is assessed individually. Battery details, condition, accessories, declared value and route all matter. Do not remove or alter batteries simply to fit a proposed journey; explain the equipment as supplied so we can assess the actual shipment. Acceptance is confirmed in the booking.

HOW WE PLAN IT

Plan the technical handover as well as the journey.

A fast arrival is only useful if the right technician can receive the correct equipment. We assess the shipment, travel options and access to the delivery location together. A data-centre loading bay, venue security desk or office reception may each need different receiving arrangements.

FAQ

Common questions

Can you hand carry electronics containing batteries?

We need the equipment description, battery chemistry and capacity where available, whether batteries are installed or spare, their condition and the proposed route. These details are checked before acceptance. A device being portable does not by itself establish that it can be carried.

Do you carry faulty electronics for a repair or return?

Tell us exactly what is faulty and whether the equipment or battery is damaged. Include the return reference and receiving service centre. We assess the actual condition before agreeing any movement; an item suitable when new may need different handling when faulty.

Can the courier install or test the equipment at delivery?

The hand-carry service covers the agreed transport and handover. Do not assume it includes installation, configuration, data access or testing. Arrange a qualified recipient to receive the unit and carry out the technical work.

What should I send for a data-centre or venue delivery?

Provide the exact address, named contact, local deadline, access hours and any delivery reference or security procedure. Agree an accessible receiving point. Tell us before booking if only a specific technician or team may accept the equipment.

Need critical electronics delivered urgently?
