WHY DIRECT CARRY

A clear collection handoff for professional document providers

Your client may already have spent days obtaining the correct authentication. The final international delivery should not become the weakest link.

Collection can be arranged from your office as soon as the documents are ready, then routed directly to the overseas recipient.

Clients collecting immediately after an appointment can review notarised document delivery. Completed legalisation packs are covered by our apostille document courier guidance.

Direct Carry is an on-board courier/hand-carry service, not a legal adviser or certification authority. We transport accepted items; the sender remains responsible for document validity, legalisation, filing rules and any jurisdiction-specific requirements.

Connect your office release with the client’s receiving deadline
HOW WE PLAN IT

Connect your office release with the client’s receiving deadline

For a notary or legalisation provider, the courier instruction starts with a finished client pack and an agreed release process. Identify which processing stages your office has completed, who authorises collection and whether updates should go to your team, the client or both.

01
Identify the client pack

Use your office or job reference and a brief contents description. If several clients have documents ready, keep the collection instruction unambiguous for each pack.

02
Confirm completed processing

Tell us which finished pack is being released and when. Your office or client determines any remaining authentication or destination requirements.

03
Agree release authority

Name the staff member who can hand over the documents. Pass on collection access details and any authority or reference the courier must present.

04
Check the recipient brief

Provide the client’s overseas office, agent or named recipient with local hours. Resolve any difference between the client’s requested time and the recipient’s availability.

05
Set update permissions

Say whether progress information should go to your office, the client or both. Identify who is authorised to amend delivery instructions once the pack has left.

06
Handle processing overruns

Use the actual completion time to reassess the journey. If a pack is held back, confirm whether other packs have separate instructions before anything is collected.

Match every client pack to its own instruction
CUSTODY & HANDOVER

Match every client pack to its own instruction

Label prepared packs with an agreed external reference and check the recipient details before release. Where several documents or clients are involved, explain which papers belong together and which require separate delivery. A consistent reference lets your team match courier updates to the correct office job.
